General App Questions

The Studio Social app was created to enhance the member experience and centralize different tools, making it the go-to platform for all member communications. Members can engage in the feed, join challenges, RSVP for free and paid events, send direct messages to the business (and staff can DM members), enjoy engaging content like videos, blog posts, and workout details, and shop studio beverages and products—all in one convenient place.

Members use the bottom tab bar to switch between Home, Feed, Discover, Store, Messages, and Account. They can also use 'See All' buttons and in-app links to navigate to specific content.

Members can control notification preferences in Settings → Push Notifications. They can enable/disable different types of notifications (new messages, event reminders, challenge updates, etc.).

Yes, the app uses secure authentication and data encryption. Member information is protected, and private messages are only visible to participants.

Members should try pulling down to refresh, check their internet connection, or restart the app. If issues persist, they can report the problem in Settings → Report an Issue.

Home Tab (For You Page)

The Home tab, also called 'For You,' is the personalized dashboard that appears when members first open the app. It provides a curated overview of everything happening at the studio.

The Home page shows featured workouts, the next upcoming event, trending workouts preview, trainers, challenge leaderboards (if active), and studio information. Content is personalized based on what's currently active.

Each section has a 'See All' button that takes members to the full page. Members can also use the tab bar at the bottom to navigate directly to Feed, Discover, Store, Messages, and Account.

Sections only appear when there's relevant content. For example, if there are no upcoming events, the event section won't appear. If no challenges are active, the challenge section won't show.

Feed

The Feed is the social hub where members can see posts from trainers, fellow members, and the studio. It's similar to a social media feed where members can share updates, photos, videos, and engage with community content.

Members tap the '+' button (usually in the top right or bottom navigation). They can then add text, select images or videos, and optionally share workouts, events, products, or challenges.

Yes, members can edit or delete their own posts. They'll see options when viewing their own posts.

Members can like posts (heart icon), comment on them, share them externally or via DM, and bookmark them. They can also tap on profile avatars to view member profiles.

When sharing a workout, event, product, or challenge, a preview card appears in the post. Other members can tap the card to view full details and take action (like RSVPing to an event or viewing a product).

Direct Messages (DMs)

Direct Messages allow members to have private, one-on-one conversations with trainers and other members. It's a secure way to communicate, share content, and get personalized guidance.

Members can visit a person's profile (from Feed, Account, or anywhere they see an avatar) and tap the 'Message' button. This starts a new conversation or opens an existing one.

Yes! Members can share events, workouts, products, and challenges. The content appears as a preview card that recipients can tap to view full details.

Yes, messages are completely private. Only the participants in a conversation can see the messages. Studio staff cannot view private messages unless there's a specific need (like reporting inappropriate content).

In the Messages tab, members can swipe left on a conversation and tap delete. This only removes it from their view; the other person still has access to the conversation.

Discover Tab (Workouts)

The Discover tab is where members explore all available workouts, wellness content, blog posts, and trainer information. It's organized into four main categories: Workouts, Wellness, Blog, and Trainers.

Members open a workout's detail page and tap the 'Watch' button to view the preview video. This helps them understand what the workout involves before booking.

On a workout's detail page, members can tap 'Book App' to book through the Studio Booking App, or 'Book Online' to book through the website. The buttons link directly to the booking system.

Each workout includes details like equipment needed, what to bring, difficulty level, duration, location with map, frequently asked questions, and preview videos.

Yes, members can tap 'Buy' on workout pages to purchase passes and memberships directly through the app.

Account

The Account tab is where members manage their profile, view their activity, access settings, and see their account information. It's the personal hub for each member.

Members go to the Account tab and tap the 'Edit' button (usually near their profile picture). They can update their display name, bio, avatar, and other information.

Members can tap 'Purchases' in the Account tab to see all their past orders, including store purchases and event tickets.

Members go to Account → Manage Account → Change Password. They'll need to enter their current password and new password.

Yes, members can enable private profile in Settings → Account Privacy. When private, only the member can see their posts and activity on their profile page, though they can still interact in the Feed.

Events

Events are studio-organized activities, classes, workshops, and social gatherings that members can RSVP to attend. Events can be free or paid, in-person or online.

Members tap on an event to view details, then tap 'RSVP' or 'Buy Tickets' (for paid events). They can add guest count and any special notes, then confirm.

Yes, when RSVPing, members can specify how many guests they're bringing. The total count includes the member themselves.

Free events require only an RSVP. Paid events require payment before RSVP is confirmed. Members will see the price and payment requirement on the event details page.

Yes, members can view their RSVP'd events in 'My Events' and can cancel if needed. Refund policies apply to paid events based on the event's refund policy.

Challenges

Challenges are fitness goals and competitions that members can join to stay motivated, track progress, and compete with other members on leaderboards. Challenges help members achieve specific fitness objectives over a set period.

When an active challenge is available, members will see it on their Home page or in the Challenges section. They tap the challenge to view details, then tap 'Join Challenge' to participate.

Progress is automatically calculated from members' workout history and any manual activities they log. The system tracks activities that count toward the challenge goal (e.g., number of workouts, total minutes).

Yes, members can view the leaderboard for any challenge they've joined. They'll see their ranking and can see how other participants are doing.

Completed challenges show final results and leaderboards. Members can still view their participation and final ranking. Rewards are typically distributed after challenge completion.

Store

The Store is the in-app shopping experience where members can browse and purchase products, passes, memberships, and merchandise. It's a complete e-commerce solution integrated into the app.

Members go to the Store tab to see all available products. They can browse in grid or list view, filter by category, or search for specific items.

The store accepts credit/debit cards, Apple Pay (on iOS), Google Pay (on Android), and saved payment methods. All payments are processed securely.

Yes, members can view all past purchases in Account → Purchases. They'll see order details, dates, and status.

'Add to Cart' adds the item to the shopping cart so members can continue shopping. 'Buy Now' immediately starts checkout for that single item without adding to cart.
